    Description

    2026 Amazone Condor 9002-2TC

The right implement for extensive arable farming systems in dry regions

The Condor trailed seed drill from AMAZONE really comes into its own in extensive mulch sowing and direct sowing in continental/dry conditions – it combines high precision and flexibility with great efficiency. With its large working widths and generous hopper capacity, the Condor sows reliably even in the hardest of soil conditions and extreme dryness, thanks to the ConTeC pro tine coulter.

    Product overview

    Your benefits at a glance

    Precise!
The Single-Shoot process enables the precise application of up to 3 different materials at one depth with reliable soil/seed contact thanks to depth guidance wheels.

    Flexible!
Ideal for extensive mulch sowing and direct sowing – even in the hardest soils. With a choice of row widths from 20 cm, successful late sowing at higher seed rates is also possible.

    High performance!
The extremely narrow chisel openers of the ConTeC pro tine coulter guarantee minimal soil disturbance, low fuel consumption and easy pulling. The large capacity, three-chamber pressurised hopper and the wide working widths ensure maximum area coverage with minimal downtime.

Mastering sowing, even in dry conditions, with the Condor from AMAZONE

Water-conserving practice is the key factor in arid regions. By avoiding or minimising soil tillage, evaporation from the soil surface can be reduced, leaving more soil moisture available for germination.

Reliable seed drills are required for effective and precise sowing under these extreme conditions in dry regions. The ConTeC pro tine coulters on the Condor from AMAZONE can be used to simultaneously deposit up to 3 different materials in the soil in a single pass. Establishing seeds and conserving water – job done.

    The Condor concept

Flexible crop establishment for water-conserving operation

    • Three-chamber pressurised hopper for the simultaneous application of different materials using the Single-Shoot process
    • ConTeC pro tine coulter for minimal soil disturbance thanks to its narrow chisel opener
    • Row widths from 20 cm for a more abundant water supply under extreme conditions
    • Perfect seed/soil contact thanks to reliable operation of the depth guidance wheels

    Agronomical benefits

The Condor – the reliable seed drill for dry conditions

With the Condor, the seed furrow is opened in a single pass, the applied materials such as seed, or seed and fertiliser, are precisely deposited, and the soil surface closed and reconsolidated. This efficient method of work, and the absence of any additional soil tillage, preserve the intact organic topsoil layer from the previous crop, thereby keeping soil water evaporation to a minimum. This preserves valuable soil moisture for germination of the seed or the release of nutrients from the fertiliser.

The Condor from AMAZONE enables you to work economically, even within extensive arable farming systems – and not just in dry continental regions.

Innovative establishment system Cut ’n' Sow – direct drilling taken a step further

Top results from a non-aggressive pass

The subject of soil tillage is becoming more and more significant when it comes to the purchasing decision-making on farms. The bigger the problems of lack of moisture, pests such as slugs, chemical resistance, and the requirements for reducing the amount of plant protection agents used, the more important the right means of soil tillage becomes. AMAZONE developed the TopCut cutting roller combination for ultra-shallow soil tillage.

With the TopCut, the first stubble cultivation can be carried out ultra-shallow, thus saving a great deal of water and creating a perfect seedbed for volunteer grain and weed seeds. Once the unwanted plants have germinated, they are easily removed in a second pass. Furthermore, the intensive cutting and shredding of organic matter in the field stimulates the decomposition process. This improves field hygiene and reduces the transmission of fungal diseases and pests.

The TopCut cutting roller combination can be used universally throughout the year under various applications – for catch crop establishment, for shredding harvest residues, for mechanical weed control and for preparation ahead of direct seeding with tines such as with the Condor.

The Primera DMC large area seed drill, the Cayena tine drill and the Cirrus trailed seed drill with Minimum TillDisc can also be used for direct sowing when adopting the Cut 'n' Sow technique with the TopCut.

Areas of application for the TopCut:

    • Perfect stubble shredding in oil seed rape, sunflowers, maize stubbles and in catch crops
    • Improved straw management through uniform straw distribution
    • Promotion of straw decomposition as a result of mixing with fine soil on the surface
    • Mechanical weed control before sowing
    • Seedbed preparation with a high proportion of fine soil and optimum reconsolidation for reliable emergence

The benefits of ultra-shallow seedbed preparation when direct seeding with a large amount of organic matter present:

    • Cost-effective, water-saving system for optimising direct drilling under difficult conditions
    • Reduction in the risk of blockages in tine coulter seed drills
    • Effective slug control
    • High output with low fuel consumption

    Condor 8002-2TC and 9002-2TC

The advantages of the Condor 02

    • The much more compact chassis of the Condor 02 offers a unique combination of manoeuvrability and output
    • The automatic coulter pressure control for undulating terrain ensures a consistent seed placement depth, even under heterogeneous conditions
    • MultiSwitch single-row control reduces overlapping and the use of inputs, whilst also allowing tramlines to be created via an application map
    • Optional row spacing of 20 cm for late sowing or sowing with high application rates
