The rise of the zero turn radius mower has ushered in a new era in lawn maintenance. The first fruit of those development efforts is finally here: Brinly’s 48” Front Mount ZTR Dethatcher.

Its patented one-bolt design allows it to be mounted to a wide variety of makes and models in under a minute by clamping firmly around the wheel casters on the mower. Its position in front of the machine gives the operator greater control and articulation, allowing the tines access to corners and other tight spaces where a tow-behind unit simply couldn’t reach.

Placing the dethatcher forward of the mowing deck also provides a significant increase in efficiency by enabling pickup of thatch and either collection or mulching in a single pass. What would normally require one pass to extract the thatch and another to collect or mulch it can now be accomplished in half the time.
