The FORTERRA range tractors are excellent in their robustness and performance. You can find three versions in the FORTERRA range: The FORTERRA CL has a four-cylinder engine with a power range of 96 to 136 hp and a 24/18 gearbox. The FORTERRA HSX is equipped with a more modern 30/30 gearbox with a hydraulic reverser. The highest model FORTERRA HD offers higher power (up to 147 hp), it has a more robust body, suspended axle and multifunctional control panel.

Powerful with low fuel consumption

FORTERRA tractors boast four-cylinder ZETOR engines with a power of 96 hp to 147 hp. Their unique construction means they represent an alternative to competitive six-cylinder tractors. ZETOR engines are reliable, powerful and excel in low consumption. The simple construction of the engine with minimum electronic elements guarantees low operating costs, long life and easy maintenance.

Matching force and accuracy

The four-speed, fully synchronized FORTERRA CL gearbox has two speed ranges and an automatic three-stage multiplier (24/18). The FORTERRA HSX and FORTERRA HD are equipped with an innovated 40ECO gearbox with 30/30 speeds, tree-stage automatic multiplier (PowerShift) and hydraulic reverser (PowerShuttle).

Force and efficiency

The efficiency of the FORTERRA’s hydraulics is based on the unique HitchTronic function – automatic regulation of the rear three-point hitch. The maximum lifting force of up to 77 kN or 85 kN copes with the coupling of a heavy machine. You will be able to use a wide range of implements with FORTERRA tractors.

Innovation from the bonnet up to the roof

Modernized FORTERRA range offers not only a new design that underlines the power and dynamics of the machine, but above all a number of functional improvements. Tractors are equipped with Stage V engines. They are based on Stage IV compliant engines and thus retain the operational and economic parameters of the previous generation.

The completely new air conditioning system offers a significant improvement in performance. Tractor lights were also modernized. For FORTERRA HD models, the tractor is already equipped with LED package with a controller for work lights and beacons as a standard (FORTERRA HSX on demand).

Powerful with low consumption

The economical ZETOR engines with 16-valve cylinder heads are the result of ZETOR’S own development and manufacture. The engine construction is tailored to the requirements of a specific model, which is a guarantee of long service life, optimum performance and low fuel consumption.

The optimized engine combustion leads to a lower heat load, lower consumption and higher pulling power

Matching force and accuracy

ZETOR uses in-house development and manufacturing facilities for the FORTERRA gearboxes.

A higher number of usable speed gears keeps the engine at the optimum speed when working in the field, as well as during transport. This keeps the fuel consumption low. In the most frequently used working range of 4–12 km/h, you can rely on up to 13 gear speeds. The more comfortable gear shifting and easier operation of FORTERRA tractors are also enabled by the function of the automatic torque multiplier which that ensures automatic gear shifting of the multiplier depending on the engine speed.

Since 2018, the FORTERRA HSX and FORTERRA HD have been equipped with the innovated ECO40 gearbox. The new gearbox allows users to reach the maximum speed (40 km/h) at lower revolutions (1800 rpm). This optimization leads to fuel savings of up to 18%, and reduces the noise and wear of the engine

Force and efficiency

Standard ZETOR FORTERRA versions are equipped with electro-hydraulic three-point hitch control ensuring high efficiency when working with coupled implements. To make working in the field easier and of a higher quality, the FORTERRA HD machine is equipped with an automatic headland turning sequence system.

HitchTronic

The unique HitchTronic system received a number of professional awards after it was released on the market. It is a unique system that automatically regulates the rear three-point hitch and does not require any settings for various types of regulation and their sensitivity. The system itself measures the soil resistance and regulates the three-point hitch adjustment according to the current values.

The HitchTronic system thus increases the productivity of your work and, at the same time, reduces fuel consumption by 5-7%.

The FORTERRA cab is comfortable on any ground. When working, you will appreciate the excellent ergonomic design. The cabs of Zetor tractors are spacious and driving comfort is improved by the dashboard with intuitive control of the machine.
